Stronger Together (not like as in HRC)

I have spoken before about the organizations that are waging war on our outdoor heritage, about PETA and the Humane Society of the United States, the Friends of Animals and Fund for Animals. These groups are dedicated to the complete abolition of hunting, and their lies and propaganda should be fought with the facts and the science of conservation. But sometimes, a lone voice speaking the truth is not enough. Sometimes we must band together in defense of our common rights and privileges, and now is that time.

Joining a right-minded conservation organization is the first step in fighting the radical anti-hunting organizations. Groups like the NRA, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, U.S. Sportsman Alliance and Safari Club International fight to protect our rights in both state and federal legislatures, and in international venues throughout the world. Groups like Dallas Safari Club, the Wild Sheep Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, and the Mule Deer and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundations and others that not only protect hunters rights, they spend millions of dollars in species management, habitat restoration and hunter safety and education programs. These types of programs are not only good for wildlife, they are good for hunters as well, as they prove to the public at large the significant benefit that hunters provide wildlife and the environment.

In the battle against the radical anti-hunting organizations bent on the destruction of hunting, our best defense is for sportsmen and women everywhere to join one or more of these conservation organizations. Working together, and armed with the truth, we will emerge victorious and leave the legacy of our outdoor heritage to our children and grandchildren.
